Ryan began his career in the Financial Services Industry on Wall Street in 1997 after graduating from Villanova University. Ryan spent the first 8 years of his career as an equity trader on a large Institutional trading desk. He moved to the Philadelphia area in 2005 to continue trading in addition to advising large mutual funds, money managers and hedge funds in the Mid-Atlantic area. While advising firms with assets ranging from 1 billion to 1 trillion dollars, Ryan returned to Villanova to earn an MBA in finance.
Ryan decided to leave the institutional world and use his financial planning expertise to help families prepare for and enjoy retirement. When Ryan learned that the products being offered to his father, a retiree from Steamfitters Local 638, were not appropriate for his situation, he knew helping families plan for their future would be a rewarding new path.
Ryan lives in Newtown Square with his wife, Kristin, and their three children. He enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams and is an active member of both the Wayne Wildcats Football and Cheer Association and Radnor Youth Lacrosse. Ryan is a diehard fan of the Villanova Wildcats and can often be found working on his future career as a professional fisherman.
